Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Nathan Branosky confirmed that a suspicious package report in Lower Macungie Township led to the evacuation of a business and the closure of Route 100. The incident occurred at the 8600 block of Congdonhill Drive, specifically at the Ryder Logistics warehouse. Local roads, including Route 100 at Spring Creek Road, were closed as a precaution.

Capt. John Christopher from the Allentown Fire Department confirmed that the Allentown Bomb Squad was called in as mutual aid to the state police investigation just before 2 p.m. Monday. The situation is currently under investigation, and updates will be provided as the story develops.
