Dolphins Make Offer to Odell Beckham Jr. in Quest for High-Profile Wide Receiver.

Mike McDaniel Reveals: Negotiating with Odell Beckham Jr. is Our Priority, but Business Transactions Require Patience

The Miami Dolphins recently had a positive meeting with free-agent receiver Odell Beckham Jr., according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. While there is mutual interest between the two sides, no deal has been reached yet. Head coach Mike McDaniel spoke about the visit at the annual league meeting, stating that they made an offer to Beckham, but negotiations are taking time.

Despite missing the 2022 season due to an ACL tear, Beckham returned to play 14 games with six starts in 2023 for the Rams. In the regular season, he had 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns. He also added four receptions for 34 yards in the postseason.

McDaniel expressed his readiness to coach Beckham if an agreement is reached. Both sides are working towards a deal, and conversations will continue. As the No. 12 overall pick in the 2014 draft, Beckham has had a successful career with 566 receptions for 7,932 yards and 59 touchdowns in 110 games for the Giants, Browns, Rams, and Ravens. Despite injury setbacks, he still has a lot of football left in him, and the Dolphins are interested in adding him to their roster.
