Double D’s Flooring: A Family Business Takes Root in Lancaster, Ohio

Double D’s: Lancaster Cousins Launch New Flooring Business

Double D’s is a new flooring business that was started by cousins Derrick Schneider and Dillon Pinkstock. The business is located at 706 W. Wheeling St. in Lancaster, Ohio. Dillon’s parents, Misty and Greg Pinkstock, were the owners of Country Carpets on Cedar Hill Road for years before they decided to open their new venture.

The cousins wanted to start a family business that would allow them to spend time with their children and work together for the long term. They began working together in the spring of the previous year and eventually created Double D’s.

The building that houses Double D’s used to be a church with a sanctuary that was converted into a warehouse. The cousins made some improvements to the building and are now located near Nick’s Pizza on Wheeling Street in Lancaster. Double D’s is currently open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, but there are plans to potentially extend hours in the future, including Saturdays from 9 a.m
