Mike Schloesser: The Modern Era’s Archery Record Holder

Schloesser Breaks Record for Consecutive Days as World #1 with 1038 Days

Archery is a sport of fine margins and fierce competition, but Mike Schloesser has managed to stand out from the rest. He has achieved an incredible feat by spending 1038 consecutive days ranked number one in the world in archery. This surpasses Sara Lopez’s previous record in the modern era since 2006.

Schloesser expressed his gratitude for being able to pursue his passion for archery for a long time and credited his success to focusing on one arrow at a time. He surpassed Lopez’s record in late 2023 and has now accumulated a total of 1758 days in the number one spot. His dominance in the sport began in 2015, shortly after winning the World Archery Championships at just 19 years old.

Throughout his career, Schloesser has set the standard for excellence in compound men’s archery. His ability to consistently perform at such a high level is truly remarkable and a testament to his skill and determination. Schloesser’s goal is to continue adding more days to his reign as the world’s number one archer.
