Monticello Wellness Expo: A Healthy Celebration for Colon Cancer Awareness Month

Wellness Expo to be Hosted by Jefferson & Madison County Health Departments

This month, the Monticello area will host a wellness expo to raise awareness for Colon Cancer Awareness Month. The event will feature over 30 vendors and is being organized by the Jefferson & Madison County Departments of Health Chronic Disease Committee. Administrator Kimberly Allbritton from Jefferson and Madison Counties’ discusses the importance of bringing this expo to the community in a video.

During the expo, attendees can expect free health screenings, disaster preparedness information, giveaways, and more. The Second Harvest of the Big Bend will also be providing free produce giveaways and cooking demonstrations.

The wellness expo will take place at the First Baptist Church of Monticello from 4 to 7 p.m., and it’s completely free for everyone to attend. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn more about health and wellness in the Monticello area.
