Rafael: Israeli Defense Giant Reports 21% Increase in Sales, Unveils New Missile Defense Systems and Shares Successful Relocation Strategies

Sales record reported by Rafael raises defense concerns

In 2023, Rafael, the Israeli state defense concern, released its financial report for the year. The company saw a 21% increase in sales from the previous year with record revenue of 14 billion shekels. Rafael’s order portfolio stands at a massive 52 billion shekels, with over half of it coming from foreign customers and nearly half from the Israeli Ministry of Defense.

Rafael’s net profit for the year was NIS 588 million, representing a 17% increase from the previous year. One of their major accomplishments in 2023 was selling the David’s Sling missile defense system to Finland for 1.3 billion shekels. Additionally, they introduced the world’s first interceptor missile for supersonic missiles, Sky Sonic, and made significant progress in developing the Shield of Light laser missile defense system.
