Redefining Sleep: King Koil’s New Smart Beds Offer Unprecedented Adjustable Comfort with Talalay Latex

King Koil introduces 4 new beds, innovative technology and enhanced materials to SmartLife mattress line

King Koil has recently unveiled a new line of smart beds that build on the success of their SmartLife Mattress launched in 2020. The four redesigned beds incorporate Talalay latex for the first time, providing a broader range of comfort feels. The SL Firm, SL Medium, SL Plush, and SL Latex Plush are each named with unique features and comfort settings.

These new mattresses feature 80 individual smart cells and eight independently controlled zones, delivering adaptive support based on body shape, height, and weight. The technology automatically adjusts to provide the desired comfort level, with settings ranging from firm to soft. King Koil CEO David Binke stated that the previous generation of smart beds was a strong performer but that they wanted to enhance comfort options in the new models.

King Koil collaborated closely with Talalay Global to develop a latex component specifically designed for the SmartLife mattresses to improve differentiation between comfort feels. The integrated controller uses silicon-chip microprocessors and digital pressure sensors to evaluate body type and position, syncing with the King Koil SmartLife app for additional customization options.

The retail price of these new generation SmartLife mattresses ranges between $4,500 and $5,500 in queen size size. Binke expressed excitement about the advancements made in materials used in these mattresses which now offer ultimate adjustability and comfort for consumers. He said “We are proud of what we have accomplished with this partnership.”
