Scarlett Johansson in negotiations to star in upcoming Jurassic World film

Scarlett Johansson is in talks to star in the next installment of the popular dinosaur franchise, Jurassic World. The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that the two-time Oscar nominee is being considered for a lead role in the upcoming movie.

Chris Pratt led the previous films and was successful, grossing over $1 billion worldwide. The new film will be directed by Gareth Edwards, known for his work on films like The Creator and Rogue One. The script comes from David Koepp, who wrote the original Jurassic Park in 1993. Originally, the project was set to be directed by David Leitch of Bullet Train fame, but he departed in February. The movie is set to be released in the summer of 2025, with production gearing up to start soon.

Scarlett Johansson has been busy with other film and television roles as well. She recently starred in Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City and Kristin Scott Thomas’s North Star, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. Johansson will also be seen alongside Channing Tatum in an upcoming romantic comedy set during the 1960s space race. Additionally, she is set to headline the TV series remake of legal thriller Just Cause, written by Oscar-winner Cord Jefferson.

The Jurassic franchise has been a huge box office success and Scarlett Johansson’s potential involvement adds even more excitement to this upcoming installment.
